It was unclear whether they had actually been infected prior to arriving at the workshop or got the infection throughout the training course.
The attendees, who are all Statistics SA employees or agreement employees from Gauteng, are being screened for possible direct exposure to the virus.
” We are going to screen everybody,” said Oosterwyk, including that no one had actually been detained in their rooms. “We have asked people to remain in their spaces. They are grownups,” he stated.
The training course, set up to end up on Tuesday, would continue practically.
” The training could not be stopped,” stated Oosterwyk.
