ROME (AP)– Italian authorities will soon authorize an experiment with “COVID tested” flights from 3 U.S. airports with the goal of getting rid of the required 14- day quarantine for passengers getting here in Italy, Rome’s primary airport said Thursday.
ADR, which operates Leonardo da Vinci Airport, stated that comparable “COVID evaluated” passages were also anticipated to be authorized for flights between the airport and the German cities of Munich and Frankfurt.
In contrast with the ADR declaration, Delta stated screening would be threefold: Travelers would be checked up to 72 hours before departure; a fast test would carried out at the airport in Atlanta; and another fast test administered upon arrival in Rome.
