University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC), located in El Paso, Texas, is looking for a dynamic RN Assistant Administrator-Emergency Services, to join nursing leadership team The Assistant Administrator is a member of the senior nursing leadership team. UMC is the premier academic healthcare system in the Paso del Norte region and ensures access to high quality healthcare services that improve the health and well-being of residents throughout the borderland. We are the only Level I Trauma Center within a 250 mile radius. UMC is the first and only Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center as well as our city�s only Level 1 Stroke Center. Under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer, the Assistant Administrator plans, directs, coordinates, monitors, promotes and evaluates all components of the Emergency Services to include two stand-alone Emergency Rooms. The Assistant Administrator directs all aspects and attributes of the Emergency Services Department in collaboration with medical staff leadership and appropriate hospital departments and assures compliance with standards, policies, and requirements of governmental and regulatory agencies.
