COLLINSVILLE, VA– A Collinsville restaurant is giving back to qualified nursing assistants who are working tirelessly during the COVID-19 outbreak.
On Wednesday, Ashley’s Taste of Home treated them to a complimentary homemade design meal.
“We have used them our lunch special, which includes a meat and 2 sides and they’ve had the ability to enjoy some home prepared veggies,” owner Wanda Ashley stated.
Ashley means to lift the spirits of the people who have actually given their best while serving others.
“Sometimes they get the least appreciation, so I wanted to really state thanks to them by beginning this off today,” she mentioned.
While the focus was on CNAs, Ashley’s wish to do the very same for all those flighting on the front lines and in the community.
“When it’s all said and done, I’m going to recognize our nurses, physical therapists, fire and rescue and our police. I wish to connect to the people who are truly serving our community at this time in some difficult situations,” Ashley explained.
The dining establishment served nearly 80 free meals.
