This program provides a sequence obviously that supplies coherent and strenuous content lined up with challenging scholastic requirements and pertinent technical understanding and abilities required to get ready for further education and professions in Health. This course is created to prepare trainees for work as Nursing Assistants (Nursing Aides, Orderlies, and Attendants) in Nursing Homes, Hospitals, or other health care facilities.
The Nursing Assistant program is a blend of class, laboratory and scientific direction. The course material consists of, however is not restricted to, social skills, medical terms, legal and ethical responsibilities, safe and effective work, gerontology, nutrition, pet-facilitated treatment, health and wellness consisting of Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Restoration Treatment, employability skills and more.
